The News of Auto PA Calibration


  1. CNC Kitchen References BD Pressure


We were thrilled to see Stefan Hermann from CNC Kitchen reference bd_pressure in his new open-source project, PrusaPATuner — a tool that brings automatic Pressure Advance calibration to Prusa printers using their built-in nozzle loadcell.


Seeing bd_pressure listed alongside Bambu Lab's PA implementation as one of the key inspirations for this approach is a huge validation for the project. It looks like automatic PA calibration is making its way into more and more printers this year, and we couldn't be more excited to be part of that movement!

  1. Works with RepRapFirmware

Big thanks to community member jaysuk, who has implemented BD Pressure support for RepRapFirmware! This means BD Pressure is no longer limited to Klipper — RRF users can now enjoy automatic PA calibration too.
